Satellite
& Cable TV magazine began publication in March
1993 as India's first print magazine devoted exclusively
to the then emerging Indian Cable TV and Satellite
broadcasting industry.
Today,
the Indian Cable TV (CATV) industry services over
72 million homes and provides most of these with almost

In tandem, Satellite & Cable TV has grown to become
India's largest CATV and satellite broadcasting trade

copies per month carries bilingual content in both
English and Hindi. The bilingual content ensures that
a single advertisement reaches out to readers of both
languages. A separate edition is also published monthly
in Gujarati. The Gujarati edition primarily targets
CATV professionals in the Indian state of Gujarat,
which has the highest CATV reach amongst television
homes.
The
Satellite & Cable (SCAT) DTH TV Guide is published
monthly in English. This is a TV program guide targeted
at TV viewers in India.
The
SCAT DTH TV Guide provides detailed half hour listings
of all programs, spanning 50 of the most popular channels.
The DTH TV Guide also provides its readers TV program
related content, which includes previews and synopsis
of popular programs, news on telestars and gossip.
The
SCAT DTH TV Guide is the country's only publication providing
this information, on a consolidated monthly basis.
